What is U-Report?
U-Report is a free, SMS-based tool for community participation developed by UNICEF designed to address issues that affect young people and the wider community. On this platform, young people can air their views on healthcare, education, polio eradication, gender-based violence, youth unemployment, and other pertinent issues affecting the lives of young people through short message service (SMS) polls.
U-Report is also a platform that helps UNICEF make UNICEF programmes more robust and more relevant for children by engaging them
through polls and live chat. U-Report
is a global community with 20,000,000 users from 88 countries.
In Afghanistan, more than 1,000,000 U-Reporters joined to bring positive change to their community.
To join U-Report and participate in polls and receive
lifesaving information, send “SALAM” to 7575 on ETISALAT, AWCC, MTN, and

The platform is confidential, anonymous and the SMS are free of charge.
